Tea Breaks

As any busy person knows, sometimes you suddenly realize that you have been hard at work for hours and need a break desperately. The moment I find myself in this situation I leave everything laying where it is and walk to the kitchen to switch on my kettle.  I find tea to be both relaxing and a chance for completely free, unstipulated creativity. Something to be driven only by my sense of what I want to eat or drink and how I feel like setting it up. I enjoy playing with the aesthetic my small tea breaks and they give me a chance to experiment with composition, something which comes in handy when doing illustrations or laying out a painting. Today as I posted My first mother-daughter tea break I realized that by now I have quite a few pictures. As they have provided so much joy for me over the past year I have decided to post them here for you to enjoy. I will quickly add that I did post a few pictures of coffee as well, so be flexible.
