Artist preview and reception at Seddwell Centre

Yesterday evening the contributing artists of the International Women's Day Exhibition at Seddwell centre gathered for a preview and small reception. As there is no planned Vernissage it was really nice to have an opportunity to view the displayed work and meet some of the artists in person.  Most of the pieces were group by artist although mine, as well as a few others, were divided up and grouped by subject.

They made a lovely buffet for us and we chatted and browsed the pictures for a few hours.

Here is a selection of the pictures on display. I really enjoyed a lot of them and definitely think that the Exhibition is worth a visit. It is available to be viewed during the opening hours at Seddwell Centre throughout March.

There will be various free workshops as well including one on modern embroidery by a girl from Brazil and on the last day one of Botanical Watercolor by me. All workshops are free this month so feel free to register. The events will be posted soon.

This was one of my favorites, it is a photo of a drawing on a photo? I think...
