Library urban sketching Meet up
Something about winter seems to scare people off when it comes to urban sketching. I can understand. We always sketch inside but somehow when it is cold and dark staying at home seems like the better option. Anyway we went out last week, braving said cold and dark, and 'sneakily' sketched at a local branch of our city library. All together we were four people. One of whom came a little bit later on.
I tried out an easy method of drawing the books- every book is a stripe, they only took shape once I started using my fineliner.
Next Saturday will be our next urban sketching meetup. If you are in Graz and would like to join us let me know.
Supplies used in this post are:
- Hahnemühle watercolor sketchbook
- Schminke Aquarelle
- Pentel Waterbrush
- Faber Castell fineliner (this isnt my favorite fineliner but it is the one I had with me).
- Washi Tape
- Affiliate links- This is not a sponsored posts
